Meg Manchester has a diverse transactional tax practice, emphasizing corporate, partnership, real estate, and international tax matters. Her corporate advisory work includes formulating and implementing tax strategies for a variety of business transactions including equity offerings, tax credit transactions, and both domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions. She is the co-leader of the firm’s LGBTQ AllIance.
Jeffrey W. Peyton
Baltimore and Washington, D.C.
Jeff Peyton is a commercial finance lawyer who represents national and regional banks, asset-based lenders, mezzanine lenders, financial institutions and other business creditors in a wide variety of commercial loans and real estate transactions. His work includes matters that involve asset purchases, construction facilities, factoring arrangements, mergers and acquisitions, real estate acquisitions, revolving credit facilities and term loans.
Sara L. Reznicek
Baltimore
Sara Reznicek represents medical practices, government contractors, technology and cyber companies, nursing homes, hospitals, and other businesses and individuals in a broad array of corporate governance, government contract, and business transaction matters. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions; restructurings; corporate, limited liability company, and partnership transactions; and business entity formation, governance, and succession planning.
Rosalyn Tang
Rockville, MD
Rosalyn Tang maintains a broad-based civil litigation practice leveraging her past experience as an Assistant State’s Attorney and Associate County Attorney. She represents businesses and individuals in a wide array of commercial litigation matters, including defense of title insurance companies, their agents and insureds in local and appellate courts. She also represents private clients in family law and divorce matters.
Demographics of New Principals
In 2021, three of the firm’s four new principals – 75% of the class – are women. This marks the fourth year that women lawyers have made up half or more of new principal elevations at Miles & Stockbridge. Five of the eight lawyers promoted to principal in 2020 at the firm were women. In November, the Diversity & Flexibility Alliance recognized Miles & Stockbridge in its annual New Partner Report as among just 46 law firms with at least 50% women in their 2020 U.S.-based new partner classes.
