On January 15, MyTHB app users can get a free bagel and cream cheese and a portion of all sales will be donated to the Baltimore Restaurant Relief Fund
While the holiday season ends on January 1, the giving is just beginning for THB Bagelry & Deli. Winner of multiple “Best of Baltimore” awards for its authentic bagels and deli sandwiches, THB Bagelry & Deli announced today it will still be spreading cheer into January as the chain will give away free bagels for National Bagel Day on Friday, January 15. A portion of all sales from National Bagel Day will be donated to the Baltimore Restaurant Relief Fund, a fund specifically devoted to rebuilding the Baltimore restaurant and hospitality industry due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Customers who purchase a beverage through the myTHB app will receive a free bagel and cream cheese. This offer will be available to existing app users at all five THB locations (Canton, Charles Village, Columbia, Timonium and Towson).

“What’s better than a bagel? A free bagel!,” said Tony Scotto, Owner and CEO of THB Bagelry & Deli. “National Bagel Day is huge for us and we wanted to celebrate with our loyal bagel fans and app users by kicking off the new year in the best way possible. We hope that all of our customers take advantage of this offer and use the myTHB app, which allows you to place the order ahead of time and have contactless pickup in all store locations without waiting in line. Using the myTHB app is the safest and quickest way to enjoy our New York-style bagels at all five locations.”

“We are thrilled to have THB join the Baltimore Restaurant Relief Fund by donating sales from National Bagel Day,” said Dave Seel, Board President of the Baltimore Restaurant Relief Fund. “This has been a critical time to give back to the restaurant community during and after the holidays with so many restaurants closed down due to the Pandemic. We are very grateful for THB’s involvement and this donation will be given to our new initiative, Feed the Industry, which purchases meals for unemployed restaurant workers.”

This offer will not be available through third party delivery services like GrubHub, DoorDash or UberEats. Users must have downloaded the myTHB app at least one day prior to January 15 to be eligible for this promotion.
Wait, there’s more -- New Cream Cheese Spreads!
THB will also launch two new cream cheese spreads at all five locations on National Bagel Day - Honey Walnut and Jalapeño. Previously, these cream cheese spreads were only available at the new Columbia location that opened in November 2020. Due to popular demand, THB will now offer these delicious spreads at all five locations.
Safety Measures
In addition to pre-ordering through the myTHB app for contactless pickup, THB continues to enforce enhanced safety measures implemented by the THB team at all locations across Maryland due to the COVID-19 pandemic. All locations have in-store online kiosks to ensure contactless ordering and floor markers for social distancing. All locations are also following county restaurant guidelines, and masks and social distancing are required in-store.
