Goodell DeVries is pleased to announce that Antonio C. Moore has joined the firm's Medical Malpractice Practice Group as an associate.

Antonio focuses his practice on the defense of health care providers and health care institutions in medical malpractice and wrongful death claims. Antonio brings to his practice extensive litigation experience. He has first-chaired over 200 judicial hearings and trials, including both the bench and jury trial level. He regularly appears before Maryland's District and Circuit Courts and the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.

Before entering private practice, Antonio was in-house litigation counsel for one of the largest automobile insurance companies in the country. He also served as an attorney-advisor for a federal agency.

Antonio is a member of the District of Columbia Bar, Maryland State Bar Association, J. Franklyn Bourne Bar Association and the Washington Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs. He is also active in his community and enjoys giving back through pro bono and public service efforts in the District of Columbia metropolitan area.

Antonio is a graduate of the Catholic University Columbus School of Law (J.D., 2014), where he was the recipient of numerous academic honors, and Howard University(B.S., 2008).
