Special event will be for Casey Cares families living in Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Philadelphia, PA, Virginia, Washington, DC and West Virginia
This holiday season looks a little different for everyone as COVID-19 continues to impact social events and gatherings. And, it’s even more challenging for critically-ill children who want to enjoy a festive holiday season but are limited on where they are able to go and what activities they are able to do. The Casey Cares Foundation’s mission is to provide uplifting activities for their families to help them cope with the emotional and physical demands of caring for a sick child.
On Thursday, December 17 beginning at 6:30 p.m., Casey Cares Foundation will be hosting a special virtual Holiday Themed Family Trivia Night hosted by Charm City Trivia. During the event, families will participate in a true trivia contest where they will answer questions posed to them about popular holiday songs, movies and little-known facts and prizes will be awarded to the winning families. The evening provides a much-needed break for families and takes them away from the stress and anxiety of caring for a critically-ill child. Casey Cares Foundation families live in Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Philadelphia, PA, Virginia, Washington, DC and West Virginia. (this is not open to the general public).
As COIVD-19 restrictions continue and many places remain closed, Casey Cares Foundation continues to provide activities to all their families such as cooking classes and Zoom calls with celebrities. In addition, they continue to send valuable items to families such as pajamas, gift cards, movie night kits and much more.
