1. How did you get your idea or concept for TruSynergy? I’d like to say the “name” of my business was derived through clarity and wisdom from the start but it wasn’t! LOL! I originally had another name for my business but a snafu on my part caused me to rethink it. To come up with the name, I had to think about what I wanted to represent, whom I wanted to serve, and what I wanted for my clients. It all boils down to discovering the best version of self so that we can show up in the world as the strong, gifted, powerful beings we were created to be. I believe we can only do this when we connect to our personal truths and align those with the key areas of wellness (mental, physical, and spiritual)—TruSynergy.
2. What was your mission from the offset? I initially wanted to open a day spa. It was important to me to share the importance of well-being, mentally, physically, and spiritually. I saw the day spa as the vehicle and I was moving full steam ahead with that plan. Then I got pregnant with my son and those plans changed. I was blessed with a new addition to my family and also the opportunity to discover a new approach for my business. The mission is still the same, mental, physical, and spiritual well-being, which I use as a foundational principle to help my clients move the barriers that keep them from experiencing complete wellness (personally and professionally).
3. What is unique about TruSynergy? When I serve my clients, I bring my whole self to the table, meaning my education, knowledge, expertise, and vulnerabilities are part of the experience. I value authenticity and relating to my clients in a genuine way. I think this opens the space for my clients to get what they need from a coaching or training engagement.
