Maryland reported 32 additional deaths on Tuesday, the largest single-day increase of deaths since the state reported 34 deaths on June 16, state data show.

A total of 4,325 Marylanders have died from coronavirus to date, and there are 156 additional deaths that are suspected to be related to the virus.

The number of Marylanders currently hospitalized due to coronavirus has reached 1,341 patients, the highest amount since the state recorded 1,374 hospitalizations on May 21.
