In the 12 years since the SEED School of Maryland opened its doors in Southwest Baltimore, Maryland’s only public, college-prep boarding school has been providing an outstanding alternative learning environment for underserved students who aspire to achieve high academic opportunities and success.

SEED’s renovated campus, competitive curriculum, dedicated faculty and 24-hour learning environment attracts students from around the state who are motivated to achieve their dream of college acceptance and graduation. Currently 405 students attend SEED, which has a middle and high school. Eighty percent of the students are first generation college-bound, and 98% of seniors have been accepted to college.

A SEED education provides more than just academics; it offers a means of discovering new talents and exposure to new ideas and experiences. At the top of the list of new experiences this year is the brand new, state-of-the-art InfoArmor Cyber Lab, a main attraction in SEED’s STEM program.
