Coronavirus Recap, Oct. 29 – Nov. 5: As Positivity Rates Rise, Local Leaders Look to Reinstate Restrictions

Maryland reported an additional 1,198 coronavirus cases on Thursday, the largest amount since the state’s caseload grew by 1,288 on July 25.

This is also the second day that Maryland has recorded at least 1,000 new cases, after the state reported exactly 1,000 additional cases on Wednesday.

Maryland has recorded 6,577 positive coronavirus cases since last Thursday, Oct. 29, and 66,598 negative results in that same period.
