Coronavirus Recap, Oct. 22 – 29: Cases and Hospitalizations Rise

Maryland reported 962 additional coronavirus cases on Thursday, the largest number reported in one day in nearly two months since the state saw its caseload rise by 1,019 cases on Aug. 1, state data show.

The 14-day average number of new coronavirus cases in Maryland has been increasing for the past month, according to the Baltimore Sun‘s data tracker.

Maryland has recorded 5,408 positive coronavirus cases since last Thursday, Oct. 22, and 68,085 negative results in that same period.
