10/22/20

Event benefits the nonprofit's Virginia and DC health and human services programs

Volunteers of America Chesapeake and Carolinas today announced its 11th Annual Harvest for Hope fundraiser has gone virtual. This year, Harvest for Hope is a month of virtual activities, including wine tasting nights, a mixology night, trivia nights, a silent auction and inspiring stories culminating in the main event on November 19th.

Harvest for Hope is Volunteers of America Chesapeake and Carolinas' premiere fundraising and networking event benefiting the nonprofit's Virginia and DC health and human services programs. Each year, more than 200 guests from across the public and private sectors who are passionate about empowering the lives of those in need participate. In light of COVID-19, the event will be all virtual, but have many opportunities to participate and contribute to the organization's goal of raising $100,000 so the health and human services nonprofit can continue to empower self-sufficiency and inspire hope among the vulnerable individuals, families and veterans served throughout the Commonwealth and the District of Columbia.
