Maryland’s Average Positive Coronavirus Test Rate Declines Slightly for Third Day

The seven-day average rate of positive coronavirus tests in Maryland decreased slightly for the third consecutive day, reaching 2.79 percent, state data show.

After rising to 3.02 percent on Sunday, the average decreased the next three days.

The seven-day average rate of positive tests yesterday was 3.37 percent for Marylanders younger than 35 and 2.48 percent for Marylanders older than 35.
