Maryland’s Coronavirus Hospitalizations Decrease Over Weekend

The number of Marylanders in intensive and acute care due to coronavirus dipped, with 13 fewer people hospitalized with COVID-19 on Monday, state data show.

Of the state’s 315 coronavirus patients who are currently hospitalized, 233 are in acute care and 82 are in intensive care.

The number of acute care patients declined by five while the number of intensive care patients fell by eight, marking a net decrease of 13 fewer people hospitalized with coronavirus compared to Sunday.
