Maryland Updates Coronavirus Dashboard with Contact Tracing Data

Maryland health officials have updated the state’s coronavirus dashboard with data related to contact tracing, including where people may have been infected by the virus.

Of the COVID-19 patients that the state reached out to from July 10 to Sept. 19, nearly 25,000, or 57 percent, said they had not attended a social gathering of more than 10 people within the 14 days before they became ill or had a positive test.

Nearly 6,000 patients, or 13 percent, said they had attended a social gathering of more than 10 people. The state received no response from more than 13,000 patients, or 30 percent.
