Maryland Sees Small Increases in Coronavirus Hospitalizations, Cases, Deaths

Maryland’s coronavirus-related hospitalizations, cases and deaths experienced slight increases, according to data that the state released today.

At least 113,239 Marylanders have tested positive for COVID-19, while 1,297,359 have tested negative as of Tuesday morning, according to the Maryland Department of Health’s COVID-19 Case Map Dashboard.

Maryland’s coronavirus caseload rose by 356, an increase of 0.3 percent.

Maryland reported three more deaths due to COVID-19, bringing the state’s total number of coronavirus-related fatalities to 3,663. There are also 144 deaths suspected to be related to coronavirus.
