Maryland’s COVID-19 Hospitalizations Decrease by 20 Patients

Maryland’s coronavirus-related hospitalizations decreased by 20 patients on Thursday after increasing by nearly as much on Wednesday, state data show.

There are currently 412 Marylanders hospitalized due to COVID-19, including 305 people in acute care and 107 in intensive care.

The number of acute care patients declined by 21 while the number of intensive care patients rose by one, marking a net decrease of 20 fewer people hospitalized with coronavirus compared to Wednesday.
