Maryland’s COVID-19 Hospitalizations Hold Steady

Maryland saw no change in the total number of residents currently hospitalized with coronavirus, with five more patients in acute care and five fewer patients in intensive care on Friday, according to data that the state released today.

Of the state’s total number of confirmed cases, 13,823 people who tested positive for COVID-19 were hospitalized at some point.

There are 455 Marylanders currently hospitalized with coronavirus — the same number as Thursday — including 353 who are in acute care and 102 who are in intensive care.
