Maryland’s Coronavirus Hospitalizations Increase, City’s Positivity Rate Drops

Coronavirus-related hospitalizations in Maryland increased by 18 patients on Tuesday, according to data released by the state today.

Maryland has hospitalized a total of 13,698 coronavirus patients to date.

Of the 453 Marylanders who are currently hospitalized, 351 are in acute care and 102 are in intensive care.

The number of acute care patients rose by 22 while the number of intensive care patients declined by four, marking a net increase of 18 more people hospitalized due to COVID-19 compared to Monday.
