Maryland COVID-19 Hospitalizations Continue to Decrease

Coronavirus-related hospitalizations in Maryland are continuing to decline, state data show.

There are currently 470 Marylanders hospitalized due to coronavirus, including 359 in acute care and 111 in intensive care.

The number of acute care patients fell by 12 while the number of intensive care patients declined by six, marking a net decrease of 18 fewer Marylanders hospitalized due to COVID-19 compared to Wednesday.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Maryland has hospitalized a total of 13,463 people with COVID-19 were hospitalized.
