Maryland COVID-19 Hospitalizations Decrease Slightly

Coronavirus-related hospitalizations decreased slightly with five fewer COVID-19 patients since Monday, according to data released by the state today.

Maryland has confirmed at least 96,843 positive COVID-19 cases, while 970,616 people have tested negative for the virus as of Tuesday morning, according to the Maryland Department of Health’s COVID-19 Case Map Dashboard.

The state’s caseload rose by 585, an increase of 0.6 percent.

Of the state’s total number of confirmed cases, 13,266 people who tested positive for COVID-19 were hospitalized at some point, including 529 who are currently hospitalized.
