Maryland Summer Vegan Week Extends Offerings Through August 16

8/7/20

This summer, Maryland Vegan Eats plans to mask on and "fight" for Maryland restaurants in a truly compassionate way by encouraging food service establishments, that are open and available to their customers during these trying times, to offer healthier, plant-based and/or vegan food items as part of their menu selections.

Vegan Week started August 1 and is NOW extending offerings until Sunday, August 23, 2020. Restaurants are being asked to promote healthier menus with whole food plant-based items which can benefit one's health, reduce animal cruelty, and save the environment. Enjoy a variety of plant-based and/or vegan menu items. Customers will get to cast their vote on their favorite dishes. All customers are welcome, not just vegans! Are you up for the "fight"?! Maryland Vegan Restaurant Week is a great treat for everyone, vegan or not. Call 410-889-8891 or visit www.mdveganeats.com for links to menus, locations and more information.

Some of the participating restaurants include The Land of Kush, Golden West Café, Miss Shirley’s, Sprout, Gangster Vegan Organics, Elife Restaurant, Plnt Burger, Great Sage, Harmony Bakery, Flight, The Greener Kitchen, Stem Farm and Kitchen, Roland Park Bagels, Little Havana, Koshary, My Mamas Vegan, Johnny Rad’s, With Love Co., Molina Pizza, Red Emma’s, Refocused, Snake Hill, Tom Cat’s Kitchen, Wicked Sisters and Larder, among others.
