Maryland Sees Four-day Decline in Newly Reported Coronavirus Cases

The number of new COVID-19 cases that Maryland reports per day has decreased for four consecutive days, state data show.

Maryland has confirmed at least 91,854 coronavirus cases, while 880,492 people have tested negative as of Tuesday morning, according to the Maryland Department of Health’s COVID-19 Case Map Dashboard.

The state reported an additional 710 confirmed cases since Monday, an increase of about 0.78 percent.

After reporting 1,169 new cases of coronavirus on Friday, Maryland reported 1,019 on Saturday, 909 on Sunday, 870 on Monday and 710 today–marking a four-day decline in new cases.
