Maryland’s Coronavirus Hospitalizations Decrease Slightly

Coronavirus-related hospitalizations in Maryland decreased slightly by five patients on Monday after dropping by 39 patients on Sunday, according to data that the state released today.

Before that, the number of Marylanders hospitalized due to COVID-19 had been rising for about three weeks, and the state still has over 100 more coronavirus patients than it did a month ago.

At least 91,144 Marylanders have tested positive for COVID-19, while 854,512 have tested negative as of Monday morning, according to the Maryland Department of Health’s COVID-19 Case Map Dashboard.
