Maryland Has Nearly 100 More Patients Hospitalized With COVID-19 Than A Month Ago

Maryland has almost 100 more coronavirus-related hospitalizations than it did a month ago, according to data the state released today.

On June 28, Maryland had 446 people hospitalized with COVID-19. The number of patients in the hospital with COVID-19 stands at 544 as of Tuesday morning.

Of the COVID-19 patients who are currently hospitalized, 394 are in acute care and 150 are in intensive care.

Most of the patients who have gone to the hospital in the last month have been treated in acute care. On June 28, there were 288 patients in acute care. As of Tuesday morning, there are 394.
