Maryland’s Number of Coronavirus Cases Continues to Rise

The average number of newly reported coronavirus cases in Maryland continues to rise, increasing by 1,128 people since Sunday, state data show.

And on Saturday, Maryland reported 1,288 new confirmed cases, marking the highest caseload reported in one day since the state reached 1,784 on May 19.

Maryland has now reached a 14-day average of 811 new cases each day, the highest point since recording an average of 833 on June 7, according to The Baltimore Sun‘s data tracker.
