Maryland COVID-19 Hospitalizations Increase Slightly, But Intensive Care Patients Continue to Drop

Maryland’s rate of coronavirus-related hospitalizations has leveled off somewhat after generally declining for more than a month, state data show.

Coronavirus-related hospitalizations in the state have increased slightly for the second day after declining for 32 straight days.

After reaching 446 COVID-19 hospitalizations on Sunday, the lowest total since the beginning of April, the number of patients jumped by one on Monday and then by five more on Tuesday.
