Maryland Surpasses 1,400 Confirmed COVID-19 Deaths

An additional 63 Marylanders have died from COVID-19, bringing the state’s total number of coronavirus-related deaths to 1,401 as of Thursday, state data show.

Maryland has also recorded 102 deaths that are suspected to be connected to COVID-19, according to the Maryland Department of Health’s COVID-19 Case Map Dashboard.

The majority of Marylanders who have tested positive for COVID-19 are 30 to 59 years old, comprising 53 percent of confirmed coronavirus cases in the state.
