Maryland Surpasses 13,600 Confirmed Coronavirus Cases

At least 13,684 Marylanders have tested positive for COVID-19, while 57,713 have tested negative as of Monday morning, according to state data. The state’s total number of confirmed coronavirus cases rose by 854, an increase of about 6.7 percent.

A total of 516 Marylanders have died from COVID-19, with 30 additional deaths since Sunday. There have also been 66 probable deaths, according to the Maryland Department of Health’s Maryland COVID-19 Case Map Dashboard.

Of the state’s total number of confirmed cases, 2,886 people who tested positive for COVID-19 were hospitalized at some point, while 917 isolated and were eventually released.
