Sinclair Broadcast Group (NASDAQ:SBGI) is nearing a deal to make Italy's Deltatre the streaming service provider for Sinclair's 21 regional sports networks, acquired last year from Disney, Bloomberg reports.
Terms of the deal weren't disclosed, but Deltatre would provide underlying technology to offer live sports broadcasts across the networks.
Deltatre's client list includes the NFL, Major League Baseball, soccer's UEFA and Discovery.
