Offit Kurman is pleased to announce today that Mohammad Ali Syed has joined the firm’s offices in Bethesda. Mr. Syed will serve as a Principal-level attorney with the firm's Employment Law Practice Group.

Mr. Syed is one of four attorneys joining Offit Kurman this month, signifying continued growth for the firm in 2020.

Bringing to the firm his experience as an Immigration Lawyer, he provides services for both individuals and businesses.

For individuals, his experience includes family-based immigration, fiancé visas, asylum, work permits, naturalization, and U.S. citizenship. He handles EB1 expedited green cards for aliens of extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business, and athletics.

For businesses, Mr. Syed handles all types of non-immigrant visas including E1/E2 treaty traders and investor visas, H1B work permits, L1 intra company transfer visas, O, P, foreign professionals, and multinational managers. He also handles EB5 investor green cards.

His knowledge of international legal, regulatory and policy issues allows him to provide clients with strategic advice and effective and efficient immigration solutions to assist them in achieving and maintaining a competitive edge in the global marketplace.

Mr. Syed is admitted to practice in New York, District of Columbia, Virginia, and Tennessee. Mr. Syed is a graduate of George Washington School of Law and the University of Rochester (cum laude), and the Harvard Law School Program of Instruction for Lawyers.
