The Montgomery County-based law firm of Andalman & Flynn, PC is pleased to announce the hiring of two new associate attorneys in order to further expand its impressive footprint throughout the greater Washington, DC area. Molly Friedman has joined the growing disability benefits law practice group, while Olivia Temmel is the newest member of the firm’s renowned family law practice group.
Ms. Friedman is passionate about providing thoughtful advocacy for individuals who are navigating complex systems while experiencing health challenges. In her role with Andalman & Flynn, she will be working to assist individuals in obtaining federal disability retirement benefits, long- and short- terms disability benefits, and Maryland state employee disability retirement claims. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Friedman served as the Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Cynthia Callahan, Associate Judge for the Montgomery County, Maryland Circuit Court. She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland, Francis King Carey School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Communication Studies from American University, where she graduated magna cum laude.
In her position with Andalman & Flynn, Ms. Temmel will focus on all aspects of family law, including domestic violence, child custody, and contested/uncontested divorces. A member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Bar Association of Montgomery County, the District of Columbia Bar Association, and the American Bar Association,she previously practiced with a civil litigation firm in the District of Columbia. Originally from Cincinnati, Ms. Temmel holds a Bachelor of Science in Education with a major in Integrated Social Studies and a minor in History from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Ms. Temmel earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton, where she was also a staff writer for the school’s Dayton Law Review publication team.
