Carney, Kelehan, Bresler, Bennett & Scherr LLP, a law firm headquartered in Columbia with offices in Annapolis, Westminster and Salisbury, received an Award for Chamber Excellence as 2019 Small Business of the Year from the Howard County Chamber of Commerce.

The Howard County Chamber of Commerce presents Awards for Chamber Excellence to chamber members who have demonstrated a continuing commitment to the chamber. Small Business of the Year recipients volunteer with the chamber, sponsor and attend chamber events, contribute to the wider business community and participate in charitable and educational programs in the community.
The Howard County Chamber of Commerce presented the Awards for Chamber Excellence at the chamber’s 50th anniversary Signature Event on Oct. 5 at Turf Valley Resort. At the event, CarneyKelehan also received a Congressional Achievement Award from U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings in recognition of the firm’s Award for Chamber Excellence.
