Zarren Law Group, LLC (ZLG) is pleased to announce that Andrew (Drew) F. Murphy has joined Team ZLG.

Drew is a business, real estate, and estate planning lawyer focused on various types of business and real estate transactions. Prior to joining ZLG, Mr. Murphy spent several years handling an array of business and real estate deals, estate planning, and tax matters while receiving training from a former partner of a large law firm. Practicing law is a second career for Drew as he previously served on an audit and assurance team with Deloitte.

When not practicing law, Drew is focused on various civic organizations and has also received a number of recognitions in his early career. His community involvement has included serving as member of the Downtown Frederick Partnership Corporate Board and the Rotary Club of Carroll Creek. He also Chaired the Young Lawyers Section of the Maryland Bar Association of Frederick County. Drew was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in Maryland in 2019, a 2017 Best of Frederick Lawyers by Frederick Magazine, and was also named as one of the top 250 attorneys for Cannabis Law by Databird Research Journal.

Drew obtained his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2012 and his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Baltimore in 2014. Healso obtained a dual B.A. in Political Science and Accounting from Washington & Jefferson College in 2005.
