The FCC has dismissed a Hearing Designation Order related to Sinclair Broadcast Group's (SBGI +2.4%) termination of a planned acquisition of Tribune Media (NYSE:TRCO).
An administrative law judge of the FCC dismissed the order with prejudice.
"We continue to maintain that we were completely candid, transparent and honest with the FCC during its review of our proposed acquisition of Tribune Media," Sinclair says.
