
Dr. Matthew Poffenroth
Matthew Poffenroth, M.D. has joined LifeBridge Health as the new chief clinical officer for physician enterprises. In his new role, Dr. Poffenroth will lead LifeBridge Health’s new physician enterprise, working to integrate faculty and community physician practices to achieve better coordination, collaboration, and outcomes.
Prior to joining LifeBridge Health, Dr. Poffenroth served as chief executive officer/chief medical officer for Inova’s Signature Partners Network in Fairfax, Virginia.

Dr. Poffenroth brings a diverse background to his new position with LifeBridge Health. He held a variety of leadership positions at Johns Hopkins Medicine, including medical director of Johns Hopkins Medical Alliance for Patients, as well as director of clinical integration and chief of medical specialties for Johns Hopkins Community Physicians.
Dr. Poffenroth is board certified in internal medicine and earned his Master’s degree in business administration from the Johns Hopkins University Carey School of Business. He earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine.
