Nemphos Braue LLC, the premier corporate boutique law firm in the Mid-Atlantic region, is pleased to announce that Amanda Knab has recently been named to the Greater Baltimore Committee (GBC)’s Education and Workforce Committee.
The Education and Workforce Committee seeks to identify, support and promote programs, policies and new training and educational initiatives, including Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) and vocational programs, designed to ensure an educated, well-trained and highly-skilled workforce that meets the needs of the Baltimore region’s diverse industries.
Knab, an associate on Nemphos Braue’s corporate team, represents start-ups and emerging and mature private companies across an array of industries including healthcare, technology, manufacturing and distribution, retail, automotive and industrial services and construction. She assists clients with entity formation, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions (buy- and sell-side) and private placement of debt and equity securities (offeror- and investor-side), in addition to matters relating to general corporate issues.

Knab is a 2014 summa cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif, and a 2009 summa cum laude graduate of University of Maryland. Knab is also Vice President of Friends of Great Kids Farm.
