Womble Bond Dickinson Adds Noted Financial Transactions Attorney Taber Cathcart to Charlotte Office

Experienced capital markets and financial transactions attorney and community leader Taber Cathcart has joined Womble Bond Dickinson’s Charlotte office.

Cathcart represents financial institutions, investment firms and institutional investors in senior and subordinated debt transactions, including acquisition finance and working capital credit facilities. She also has extensive experience in secured and unsecured syndicated credit facilities, single-lender transactions, and loan workouts and restructurings.

“Taber is well-known as a leading financial transactions attorney. Adding her will strengthen our already robust team and help our financial institution clients achieve their business goals,” said Merrick Benn, Practice Group Leader-Capital Markets and Member of the Firm Management Committee.

In the community, Cathcart is a Charlotte Ballet Board Member, drawing on her 10 years of experience as a professional ballet dancer prior to law school. She also serves as Chair of the Child Care Resources, Inc. Board and as a Board Member of Leadership Charlotte.

She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and the University of South Carolina School of Law. She comes to Womble Bond Dickinson from Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC in Charlotte.
