Firm to provide marketing and communications services to CaliBurger Mid-Atlantic, TranZed Apprenticeship Services, Everyman Theatre and Nacho Mama’s Towson
Profiles, Inc., the Baltimore-based marketing and communications firm, announced today the addition of four clients – CaliBurger, TranZed Apprenticeship Services, Everyman Theatre and Nacho Mama’s Towson.
“We are pleased to have been tapped by companies and organizations that recognize Profiles’ expertise in creating break-through marketing and communications programs,” said Amy Elias, Profiles founder and CEO.
CaliBurger™, a fast-growing California-style burger chain with restaurants across the globe, has named Profiles its agency of record. Profiles is charged with managing media relations, business development and social media for its mid-Atlantic operations. The company, which opened its first East Coast location in Columbia, Md. in 2015, recently announced plans to open 12 additional locations throughout Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia in the coming years. CaliBurger’s U.S. locations are currently concentrated on the West Coast, specifically Pasadena and Seattle. The restaurant’s global footprint extends across 12 countries, including Canada, the UK, Sweden, China and Saudi Arabia.
Profiles was selected by TranZed Apprenticeship Services (TAS) to develop and implement a strategic communications and marketing plan to introduce the company, which is Maryland’s first registered non-traditional apprenticeship program. Offering apprenticeships in IT, cyber-security and digital/social media, TranZed Apprenticeship Services works with employers and apprentices to fill high-quality jobs with motivated candidates and provide individualized training and mentoring to develop an apprentice's skills for long-term, rewarding careers. Profiles is providing media outreach, business development and advertising services to advance the company in the region and position it for continued growth.
Profiles is working with Everyman Theatre on a short-term engagement, providing media relations services around the Baltimore/Washington premiere ofDOT, written by Colman Domingo, which runs Dec. 7, 2016-Jan. 8, 2017, and Charles Dickens’ Great Expectations, running Feb. 1-Mar. 5, 2017.
Nacho Mama’stapped Profiles to assist with the opening of the restaurant’s second location. Located in Towson at 2 Pennsylvania Avenue, Nacho Mama’s officially opened its doors on Nov. 18. Profiles is providing media relations and social media services through the end of the year.
