While it is ideologically divided without a tie breaking vote, in its upcoming term the Supreme Court is likely to take on cases that are less politically charged. It is predicted that several of the cases heard will include high profile intellectual property matters. Such IP-related cases include the $400 million dispute between Samsung and Apple regarding the iPhone design, the Washington Redskins’ dispute against the USPTO and a copyright suit involving the video of a toddler dancing to a Prince song.
