On Thursday, October 27th Offit Kurman hosted its second annual Craftoberfest, which brings together leading executives, entrepreneurs and local craft breweries for a fun night of beer tasting and networking. This year’s Craftoberfest brought together about a hundred local business leaders from Maryland and Washington, D.C., and featured almost a dozen local craft breweries and beverage vendors. The event was hosted at the historic Savage Mill Mall in Savage Mill, MD.
The second annual event showcased Make-A-Wish® Mid-Atlantic, a local organization that grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Ultimately, they do whatever it takes to grant the wish of every eligible child – from meeting their idol, to go on a dream shopping spree, or even to become a ballerina.
Craftoberfest was hosted by Offit Kurman, PSA Insurance, The Canton Group, PNC Bank, and featured local craft beer and catering from Chef’s Expressions, The local craft breweries included Black Flag Brewing Company, Flying Dog, Jailbreak Brewing Company, Manor Hill Brewing, Peabody Heights Brewery, RavenBeer, Union Craft Brewing, and Waverly Brewing Company.

Make-A-Wish® grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic serves children who reside in central and southern Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland and northern Virginia. Founded in 1983, the Mid-Atlantic chapter has granted more than 8,800 wishes in the Mid-Atlantic region since its inception.
