Jonathan Wachs spoke at the August Women Grow Baltimore Networking Event on How Cannabusinesses Can Protect Their Intellectual Property. Women Grow was created in 2014 to educate and connect cannabis industry leaders through programs and events held nationwide. The organization strives to empower women in the cannabis industry and provide connections and resources to business owners and entrepreneurs looking to enter this brand new industry. At the event, Mr. Wachs discussed strategies for protecting intellectual property related to the cannabis industry and the best approaches to protecting business assets under current laws and policies. As Co-Founder of the Cannabis Practice Group as well as Chair of Offit Kurman’s Intellectual Property Group, Jonathan Wachs is well versed in the new and developing field of cannabis law.
