Elisa Mintz Delia is first to hold newly created position of vice president, administration and chief of staff and strategic initiatives
Kennedy Krieger Institute announces that Elisa Mintz Delia has been named vice president, administration and chief of staff and strategic initiatives.
Delia has worked for Kennedy Krieger since 1996, serving in roles in child life, administration, operations, innovative projects and patient care. She most recently served as the vice president of administration.
In her new position, Delia will focus on the integration of strategy, management, accountability, structure, people and culture at Kennedy Krieger. She will help implement strategies and manage the processes of innovation and change by working with, and supporting, the Institute’s CEO, chief operating officer and other members of the senior leadership team.
“Elisa knows the many facets of this organization and her leadership reflects that,” said Jim Anders, Administrator and COO. “She in uniquely suited to lead the integration of our strategic initiatives with our goal of advancing our mission to improve the lives of our patients and students, and their families.”
Delia holds a master’s degree in social work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore and a master’s degree in leadership and social change from the Tai Sophia Institute (now known as the Maryland University of Integrative Health). In 2015, Elisa was selected to participate in a civic leadership program offered by The Leadership, an independent nonprofit founded by the Greater Baltimore Committee. She currently sits on the executive committee of the board of directors of the Ronald McDonald House Charities Maryland.
