Mid-Atlantic Neighborhood Development Corp. is a joint venture between Volunteers of America National Services and Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas for affordable housing opportunities

Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas today announced the hire of Owen McCabe as Executive Director of Mid-Atlantic Neighborhood Development Corporation (MANDC). The Mid-Atlantic Neighborhood Development Corp. is a joint venture partnership between Volunteers of America National Services and Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas with the purpose of continuing efforts of developing affordable housing opportunities to those who are most in need.

McCabe is an experienced real estate professional with expertise in managing all phases of affordable and supportive housing developments from community outreach, site plan development to obtaining final agency approvals. He is well-versed in all aspects of securing state and federal tax credits, creating strategic revitalization and redevelopment plans, market analysis, site plan design, project financing, development negotiations, and plan implementation. He was most recently Vice President of Acquisition and Development of Volunteers of America Delaware Valley.

In this new role, McCabe will be responsible for establishing MANDC as a regional affordable housing developer in the Mid-Atlantic and formulating and implementing the MANDC affordable housing development strategy in collaboration with the board.
