The Halifax Group Invests in PJ United, a Papa John's Pizza Franchisee

Leading private equity firm The Halifax Group announced today that it has completed an investment in PJU Holdings, Inc. the largest franchisee of Papa John's Pizza, and a former portfolio company of TPG Growth. Halifax partnered with CEO Doug Stephens and PJ United's management team, which will remain with the Company after the transaction. Halifax previously invested in the Company from 2007 to 2013. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Birmingham, AL, PJ United operates 194 stores across 10 states. Over its 29-year history, PJ United has grown into a leading restaurant operator in the pizza category, with one of the most experienced management teams in the industry.
