She founded RS Partners, an association management company. In addition to her role with Executive Alliance, Snyder is the executive director of the MDDC Press Association. Snyder was vice president and general manager of The Daily Record for 12 years and has also worked for the Federal News Service.

Active in the community, Snyder has served on the board of the Baltimore Community Mediation Center and the board of The Loading Dock. She is also a graduate of the Greater Baltimore Committee LEADERship Program and a fellow of the Dolan Leadership Institute.

“Rebecca steps into this new role with passion and enthusiasm. She is committed to fostering and enhancing the skills and relationships that will lead to better representation for women in leadership and boardroom roles in Maryland, while at the same time growing their support systems and networks,” said Executive Alliance President Lisa Hayes.

“In partnership with the board and leadership, she will enhance the programs and offerings of the organization and build further on the research provided by the organization’s annual Census Report of Women on Boards in Maryland, the reach of the annual Women of Excellence luncheon and data being generated by the Gender Diversity in the Boardroom legislation enacted in 2019.”

Executive Alliance accelerates the success and leadership of accomplished women by expanding their impact and influence through advocacy, education and mentorship. Partnering with businesses, nonprofits and government, the organization develops women leaders at all levels through programs, events, networking and mentoring.

“Executive Alliance has nurtured generations of powerful women leaders since 1993. I look forward to building on the strong foundation provided by these past leaders. My marketing and communications expertise, and sales and fundraising background, as well as experience in management and growth of nonprofits and associations, will help me tap into the potential of this powerful organization,” Snyder said.

Snyder graduated from Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Art in English and classical archeology.
