BETHESDA, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GrammaTech, a leading provider of software application security testing solutions, today announced the appointment of Michael Kelley as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He joins GrammaTech from Arxan Technologies, which was acquired by Digital.ai, a TPG company in April 2020.

“Michael is a proven financial management leader with a track record for building security software companies,” said Mike Dager CEO of GrammaTech. “His understanding of the software and security sectors, and operations expertise will help us strategically manage GrammaTech’s existing business and target lucrative new segments.”

Michael joins GrammaTech from Arxan Technologies, where he served as Vice President of Finance reporting to the CEO. He brings strategic and operational experience, as well as Board level experience with venture capitalists (VC) and private equity firms to the GrammaTech management team. Michael played a pivotal role in the sale Arxan to TA Associates in 2013 and to TPG Capital in March 2020, which was eventually was acquired by Digital.ai, a TPG company in April 2020. Previously, Michael served in finance management positions at Broadsoft and Costar Group. He holds an MBA from Loyola College in Maryland and a bachelor’s degree from Frostburg State University.
