Howard Bank, a growth-focused community bank serving businesses, professionals and individuals in the Greater Baltimore area, announced today that it has named Jason Dieter, Business Banker.

Dieter will be responsible for working to develop business relationships in the Cecil and Harford counties.

“Jason has excelled at the bank and we are excited to see what he will accomplish in his new role,” said Frank Turner, Executive Vice President, Chief Commercial Banking Officer of Howard Bank. “He’s proven himself across the board and we know he’ll continue to deliver.”

Dieter joined 1st Mariner Bank in 1997 and has worked in a variety of areas within the bank, including branch banking and as an underwriter in both the consumer and commercial lending departments.

“I’m eager to take on this challenge,” Dieter said. “Cecil County is growing at a brisk pace and Harford County has a strong foundation and a skilled work force. We see these markets as having so much potential.”
