
Jim Patton
SHIFT, a Baltimore headquartered consulting, executive membership, and venture capital company, announced today that they have added Jim Patton to the team as director of business development.
Patton will be responsible for developing strategic business relationships and introducing SHIFT’s suite of consulting services, products, and offerings to new clients. He will help clients implement short-term and long-term objectives to drive profits, build strong company cultures, and increase employee engagement and performance.
Patton has 21 years of experience in training, organizational change management and account management. He’s held positions focusing on instructional design and development, training delivery, project management and business development. Before joining SHIFT, he was an account executive at GP Strategies where he worked with Fortune 100 clients to transform the way they do business.
For the past four years, Patton has volunteered for Back on My Feet Indianapolis, a national non-profit that helps individuals experiencing homelessness rebuild their lives with confidence by coordinating weekly running groups, job training courses and opportunities to obtain financial aid.
Patton earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in criminal justice from Indiana University. He returned to Indiana University to receive his MBA degree in 1994.
