The Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore is pleased to welcome Kaylee Zielinski as the nonprofit’s new event manager.

Zielinski, who started with the organization in October 2018,brings nearly a decade of experience in the event planning industry to the organization. In her role, Zielinski is responsible for coordinating large scale free- to low-cost eventsaround the Inner Harbor, assisting with the production of events, conducting social media marketing, facilitating external events, among several other roles.

“Kaylee’s knowledge about Baltimore andher wealth of experience in event planning makes her a great fit for the position,” said Matt Shaffer, director of marketing communications for the Waterfront Partnership. “She plays a key role in activating the waterfront and making it a world-class destination for visitors and locals.”

Since joining Waterfront Partnership, Zielinski led the coordination of this year’s Harbor Point Ice Festival, the programming for the 2018 season of the PANDORA Ice Rink at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor and is planning for the upcoming season of outdoor and food truck events.

Zielinski previously worked for organizations including, the Maryland State Bar Association, Maryland SPCA, Baltimore City Parks and Recreation and CID Entertainment,planning, organizing and promoting a variety ofevents.

She was born and raised in Maryland and graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) with a degree in media communication studies. She is passionate about Baltimore City, the Inner Harbor and creating entertaining and free programming for residents.
