Tracie Lefevre
The Y in Central Maryland is pleased to announce the appointment of Tracie Lefevre to its management team as executive director of early childhood development. Effective immediately, Lefevre is responsible for the leading the strategy and operations for early childhood development programs across the Y, including Y Preschool and Head Start.
Lefevere brings over 20 years of nonprofit development and education experience to her role at the Y. She spent the last six years at Teach For America Baltimore as a member of the regional leadership team, where she raised $7 million in annual revenue and managed a network strategy of over 1,100 teachers and alumni. Prior to joining Teach For America, she spent time at Catholic Charities, and as an instructor at Johns Hopkins School of Education and the Baltimore County Public School System.
Lefevere has a bachelor’s degree from Guilford College and a Master of Arts in education from Towson University.
