KatzAbosch is pleased to announce that our Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Arlene R. Thayer, AAAPM, has been elected as the Susquehanna Valley Community Mental Health Services Board President.

The Susquehanna Valley Community Mental Health Services is dedicated to bringing quality mental health services to people who might not be able to access care otherwise. They strive to treat each individual with respect and dignity, regardless of economic status, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religious preference. They are established in York and Hanover Pennsylvania, in addition they currently serve on-site at two local shelters for survivors of human trafficking. The Board’s primary responsibility is governance and leadership.

Arlene joined the firm in 2003 and has over 20 years of industry experience. As a member of the executive team at KatzAbosch, Arlene works to promote a success-oriented and accountable environment. Providing leadership and management, she ensures that the firm stays the course towards achieving its strategic objectives and creates the necessary people systems crucial to effectively grow the organization and to ensure both financial strength and operating efficiency. She has been involved with a number of boards and committees. In addition, she has won numerous awards recognizing her mentoring and leadership qualities.
